Less cranky today...

So, I got in touch with the good folks at Kobo this morning and was pleasantly surprised at how competent and helpful they were. They're dispatching a kit for me to send the eReader back and I should hopefully have a new one sorted out within 10 business days. I'm still irritated, but I am trying to remember that every once in a while, a good ( Read more... )

Jayzus i hate assembling furniture. The directions are always written as if they were translated into English out of an obscure Chinese dialect via a grandmother from Lithuania who speaks only Italian.

Or something.

Thanks for the luck, I'll need it. It's Ikea furniture so it doesn't even have written directions at all. This does not necessarily compute well for my brain type.

Reviews suggest the Kobo is competent.

Even the best-designed electronics fail now and then.
