Back in the land of the employed
Well, I started a new job today. Actually, its a temp job, for about three months, at the county school admin building. I'm helping with a large project, assisting the project manager. It seems okay so far, but its hard to tell from one day. And there's another possibility on the line, with a book publisher, possibly doing some text writing. I really really want to see what that one's all about, because it sounds much more creative than the job I just started. But why do all the job offers come at once???
I do have to say that since I quit my other job about a month ago my stress level has gone way down. I feel better physically and mentally, and even though my finances are shit, I'm glad I did it. It's actually been nice having almost a month off, looking for work but not too hard, getting enough sleep, reading, swimming, and taking it easy. Trust me, my mind and body needed it.
