Gahhhhhhhh!
Okay, I've been unemployed for exactly seven days. And yes, it was my choice to leave my other job, and I don't regret it at all. My nerves have calmed down and I know it was the right thing to do. I signed up with a temp agency, and I've had two interviews. The one last week wouldn't have worked out, the bus trip and subsequent mile walk to the office just wasn't good. Yes folks, I have no car. I voluntarily repoed it last October. Well, anyway, I had another interview today, and the bus was late, so I was ten minutes late (fuck!) and it went okay, but I don't know if I did well. I don't think its a good fit for me, but dammit, I need to work! I gotta have rent money by the first of the month, plus I have bills to pay from this month still, and my last paycheck won't go very far. I think I better sign up with another agency tomorrow and see what happens. So if anyone has any good job vibes they can send my way, I would really appreciate it. Say it with me now 'Red needs a job, Red needs a job'. Oh, then while waiting at the bus terminal, some guy tried to pick me up---yack! I wear my headphones for a reason, and that's so the weirdos won't talk to me. But he did anyway. Then there was a screeching infant on the bus, so I had to turn Marilyn Manson up louder to drown it out. Gah, what a day. Now I'm back home, safely tucked in front of my computer and smoking a cigarette. Gah.
