John McCain found his stride in tonight's debate.
He looked good sitting at that desk, instead of shuffling around the stage.
His handlers did a masterful prep job.
They figured out how McCain should react while Obama spoke, so that he appeared more in control.
And they trained McCain to do it.
It wasn't until the end that he started looking desperate again.
In a way it was sad to see him lie so much.
Claiming in one breath that he wouldn't bring up Obama's supposed terror-pal William Ayres.
And in the next breath reciting the
terror-pal lies.
Plainly making one dishonest statement after another.
Taking Obama's votes on taxes and abortion rights out of context time and again.
Another of Karl Rove's psychopathic liars.
But.
Watch the spectacle with the sound off.
Mack Kane played it well if you ignore the facts.
He looked commanding and presidential for the first time.
Obama may have peaked too early.
The Manchurian Candidate trudges on.
The nice thing about
psychopaths ...
They've got sticktoitiveness.
Count on them.
They never give up.
Meanwhile Obama looked OK.
And the things he said were sound.
He needs to ratchet it up.
Got to have the killer instinct.
Put Mack Kane away.
