My husband and I got married on March 12th, '06, but had a tiny little private ceremony. So, in August, so we could include all our friends and family, we got "remarried" at Shephard's Beach Resort on Clearwater Beach, FL. (We lived 20 minutes from there so it was perfect.)

Here's one, and there are several more under the cut.

Walking down the aisle out the door, right after my mom stomped on the train of my dress!

Yes, both my mom and stepdad gave me away; no, my mom is not picking her nose; yes, I am already crying.

My maid of honor and three bridesmaids.

Saying vows.

My stepson, the ring bearer.

Right after we put the rings on. (My maid of honor's dress was falling down all day!)

You may now suck her face off her skeleton kiss the bride!

Actually, the kiss wasn't as tacky as it looked in that picture.

I'm not thrilled about the angle of my neck in this picture, although the photographer said, "It looks so natural!"

One of my favorites.

Too bad the boat was in the background. That's Clearwater, for ya.

The sun is pretty brutal in Florida.. on the beach.. in August.. at noon.

Although my girls are beautiful, some are more photogenic than others. I blame the sun again!

Hey, we're not all perfect, but it makes for good laughs.

My husband and his best man.

My stepson was not crazy about the sun that day, either.

We're all shrimps, except my stepdad. Why couldn't I have gotten his genes?

Check out my husband looking at my ass pinning up the train to my dress.

Can you tell he was happy to be out of the sun?

"Okay now stand there.. put your hand on the window.. perfect! Now, look over your shoulder.. don't smile too big.. wait, a little more than that.. yes! It looks soooo natural!" You all know what I'm talking about!

Our little cake. Notice anything missing? Yep, the ONE thing I asked my groom to do was get the topper while I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off.. and he forgot!!

And, just for good measure...

There was no way in hell I was walking in expensive heeled shoes in the SAND, especially when I'd never wear the shoes again. So, my choice? CLOGGGZZZZZZZZ (a forever inside joke with my bridesmaids)
