E-excuse me. I think there's been some kind of misunderstanding. I - I just met Sault-san and Lapis-san and Lazuli-san and now I've somehow found my way here.

[They all seemed like such nice people, and so welcoming~]I thought I was in a shop, but now I can't even find a door. It looks like something from a world beyond. Places like this only ( Read more... )

[Look! It's part of the derp brigade!]

Supernatural? Like ghosts and stuff?

[Derps united!]

[Sawako nods, smiling in 'friendly' way that comes off as less friendly and more creepy]

Ghosts and stuff or something like that. I know many ghost stories. Would you like to hear one~

[I greeted him in a friendly way. I'm sure it went over well!]

[I probably startled him, since I'm new here.]

This place will offer good material for future ghost stories. I can tell.

[Such a strange setting will really surprise everyone at home when she tells them about it.]

Don't you think so, too~

M-maybe? I don't think it's so scary anymore.

[I guess it won't make for a good scary story. At least I can tell Chizu-chan about it now.]

[She relaxes somewhat, the scary vibe fading a little as she becomes more thoughtful]

That's good. I - I think the more you get to understand something the less scary it seems.

Would you - would you mind telling me more about this place so I can understand it, too.

Yeah. It was pretty creepy at first, but it's not so bad anymore.

Uh, what would you like to know?

Anything you could tell me would be very helpful!

And - and of course if you ever need anything from me, I'll be happy to do my part. Since we're neighbours now, it's my job to help you out whenever I can. Please remember me if you need anything!

Well, this is the Astral Plane. People from all sorts of different realities can come here. While you're here, time stops at home, so it's pretty handy if you need a break. You can come and go by thinking about it - kinda like you think about taking a step.

I don't spend as much time here as some people, so I don't know a whole ton, sorry to say.

Ah! I will. I'm Isaac, by the way.

Oh - oh - oh! I bet I could get all kinds of school work and chores and jobs done by coming here. That's really, really great!

[she bows] It's - it's very nice to meet you, Isaac-kun. I'm Kuronuma Sawako. Thank you for treating me so well!

I usually come here when I need a breather from home...or if I'm really hungry. There's a kitchen here that restocks itself!

Ah, you too! How else would I treat someone?

They have a kitchen here! Do you get hungry a lot, Isaac-kun?

[What a kind person, he always greets everyone with a smile.]

New people can be startling at times. I think - I think it's really great that you're so kind to a stranger.

Sometimes. When we're traveling, we end up going awhile between meals.

Maybe, but that's no reason to be a jerk. Some people say I'm too trusting sometimes. [FFF so unused to complements like this wut]

Then - then if it isn't too forward, I would like to make you meals to get you by. Maybe you could even share them with your friends, if you like.

Too trusting? [This concept is weird and confusing to her.] How can someone be too trusting?

[@_@]

That'd be nice, but you don't have to. I normally just get a snack so my stomach doesn't cramp up if I end up fighting.

Well, you could be really nice to a person who ends up stabbing you in the back later, but I don't think people are like that.

I - I wouldn't say I wanted to do it unless I wanted to do it. It will keep me from getting bored. If I don't have something to do I'll get bored.

[and the creepy vibe comes back.]

So bored. So, so bored.

[and 'normally' again, although some of the creepiness lingers]

I don't think so either. Usually things like that are just misunderstandings.
