[ When Sefton appears on the Plane, he looks shaken. He's behind the theater, which is convenient, since he automatically slouches his left side against it-and immediately pulls back with a quiet "ow" and settles for placing his back on the wall instead.

He slides down and curls his legs close up to his chest. ]

[ -!! Sefton jerks his head up, then averts his eyes, almost... guiltily? ] S'nothing. Just bruised worse th'n I thought it would. [ A whole lot worse.

... which is kind of what happens when you go at that speed on ATs and collide into the ground at double the impacting power, but he's not gonna say that. ]

[polarisation]

... No? [ Agh, don't make it into a question. The last thing he needs right now is to be strongarmed into going to the doctor's again. Let's try that again. ] I haven't.

[formervanguard]

H-Hey!

[Marta rushes over, looking worried.]

Oh no, you're hurt...what happened?

[polarisation]

[ Ugh. Sefton reaches a little further and tugs his sleeve down over the bandage, while trying to scoot a little to the side as Marta gets closer. ]

Nothing.

[formervanguard]

That doesn't look like nothing... [She shakes her head, holding a hand out, palm up.] I can heal it.

[polarisation]

[ He gives the hand a glare. He's a little off-kilter at the moment and being touched is the very last thing he wants. ] It's fine. It'll heal on its own.

[smolderingdark]

[How about that guy walking by...

... on fire? Honestly, some people just have no manners...

Strangely, he seems unaffected by it. He's whistling. And juggling two bladed round things that look very sharp.]

[polarisation]

[ Sefton almost doesn't notice, as he is too wrapped up in his angsting, but when he does, he simply... stares.

Why is it he can almost forget how crazy this place is? It really shouldn't be getting normal for him. Really. ]

[smolderingdark]

[Well, there's your distraction.

Axel glances over at Sefton and nearly keeps walking, but as he lifts his hand in a wave, he notices some bandages. With a snap, the fires extinguish, along with the weapons.]

You look like you just got mugged.

[polarisation]

[ Sefton looks away and tries tugging at the end of his sleeve when Axel notices. The fact that the guy can apparently control fire and sharp objects is worrying, but Sefton tries not to linger on that. ]

S'nothing.

[silenteden]

[Kuhn doesn't notice the bandages at first, but he knows an upset look when he sees one. He realizes that the guy's not really big on being open or whatever, but it never hurts to try, right? ..... right?]

You don't look like you really need to be apologizing for anything...

[polarisation]

[ Just... drops his head onto his knees and curls up a little tighter. There's a mixture of exasperation and continued angst in the action. ]

[silenteden]

[Kuhn watches... then shrugs, and takes a seat against the wall nearby.]

What happened, man?

[polarisation]

[ Sefton jerks and brings his head up while moving away. Not too far, but... distance, man! Distance. And then he just gives a sulky little look. ]

Nothing.

[polarisation]

[ Sefton looks up, a bit sulkily, but mostly just in the default setting of any teenager worth his salt: moody. ]

[ Sefton, as per usual, scoots away a bit. What's up with this guy? Geez... ]
