So, oh so many things have occurred in the past months. The cafe which I co-own with my past Bluehouse counterparts has now been open for two weeks. I just randomly looked at my journal post counts and noticed that I am about 6 entries away from 1000 postings. Amazing.

This place is a ghost town.

Last night I laid awake in my bed...
2 in the morning
eyes wide open.
In the silence my
mind was loud-
rummaging through
old memories,
like a filing cabinet.
I pulled out images-
times and places
which at one point were
so vivid, alive
and rich.
It's easy to pass
over the moments.
To hope for a day
to be over.
It's going fast.

I found 21 dollars while taking out the trash at work. Later in the day while walking back from lunch I saw a book fly off the top of a car. Curiosities sake made me pick it up. Turns out to be journal notes of a lawyer in the dog fighting trial that's been going on with that football player. The notes are mostly about dead dogs and what not, haha ( Read more... )
