According to the New York Times, sales of romance novels are far out-stripping (ha! see what I did there?) the rest of the book industry. The theory is that people enjoy escapism more in a grim economy. Probably Wisdom should start cranking out some nice Buddhist bodice-rippers.
I suggested Divine Love: Padmasambhava's Letters to Yeshe Tsogyal. This got quite a laugh.
