my guitar player told me about this comp you speak of, before i was skeptical because we have to record shit for a couple other comps lately. just fill us in or PM our myspace or whatever. thanks.
oh and us being on the comp had nothing to do with WBTD being on it, we were simply just busy recording a bunch of other stuff... we have a crust/grind band as well we are doing a split as, so sorry if u got the wrong messege from that
you're most likely not selling any on account of the ramones sucking so hard that even a picture of a guy wearing a t-shirt on a cassette tape sleeve will ward off would-be buyers who would normally partake in your sick twisted capitalist rituals if you weren't so stupid haha stupid!
you sold me. if you could send me a more complete list of available albums in this vein, or a website, or something, i would be interested in investing a bit into this style, after having dabbled in napalm death, carcass, and the like.
oh i didn't mean that i needed some acoustic black metal, per se. i was talking about the lots & lots of bands advertised on that link, in the comp, etc. i'll just read up on it all myself.
well the only grind (napalm death being grind, carcass being goregrind) that is on SHR is the demo from Crusher, who I don't beleive have a website. As for the comp (which is mostly crust and similar heavy rawpunk stuff), Iskra employs vocals and drumming commonly seen in grind.
If you wanna hear more stuff check out Heresy or Warsore. And I don't know if you are well versed in powerviolence but that's what I dig when it comes to grind-y stuff. So that would be bands like Hellnation, Fuck on the Beach, Spazz, Kent Brockman, ACxDC, BastardAss, or Plutocracy. I don't mean to be categorical. I mean rwpunk is fucking rawpunk and chances are if you dig one band you dig the other regardless of differences in style.
