Updates and such
Upstairs...
The bedroom.
(You could play "count the animals" in most of my house pictures...It's hard to avoid them). The bed and dresser are from Ikea. I painted the dresser (it was that bleached naked wood color, which I happen to hate) and added new hardware.
The thing with the circles is also from Ikea, and is perfect for hanging my headbands and some smaller scarves.
The window was in our basement when we moved in, so I stuck some of my photography in there. Still debating on whether I should hang it. And I made the mini couch for my cats, who want nothing to do with it despite my cajoling and promise of kitty treats.
The bathroom.
This color looked WAY lighter and less seafoam-esque on the chip. Love it when that happens...
Both the sink and toilet are PINK, as you can see. The walls also used to be pink. We plan on tiling the floor and changing out the sink and toilet for white.
There used to be a phone in that cubby hole. We don't use a landline, but I seriously would have kept it there if we did.

We found this folk art wooden quilt at a thrift store and we took the TV off the wall because it looked awkward for some reason.
This mirror was $5, seriously. And I got inspired to buy that Dairy Queen ice cream lamp after I saw a similar one on the Fred Flare guys' house tour. I got into a bidding war on Ebay, and I'm kind of embarrassed to say how much I paid for it...
