Don't judge me, but I quite enjoyed 'The Hangover 2'. Full of (really crude) humour. Oh yeah, there's nothing smart about it, and it's basically just 'The Hangover' in a different country so it's completely predictable, but it's not bad for what it is. Although I did think the best bit would be Zach Galifianakis's beautiful curly hair, but (without spoiling things), turned out we didn't see much of that. Shame. Also - decent soundtrack. It's funny how the stupidest films will often do well on the music ('Love and Other Drugs', I'm looking at you).
Also:
- Saw a trailer for the excellent-looking
'The Guard'. Definitely must see it when it's released. :)
-
Interview with Arctic Monkeys in yesterday's Observer Magazine. Interesting stuff.
- Will definitely be watching
'Alexander Armstrong's Big Ask' tonight on Dave. Looks fairly amusing. Plus DAVE LAMB! :D
- Much loving for Miles Kane's debut 'Colour of the Trap'. 1 part TRex, 2 parts Oasis, and about 7 parts Last Shadow Puppets, which is probably to be expected. Excellent. 'Come Closer' and 'Rearrange' are quick sing-a-longs. 'My Fantasy', 'Happenstance' and 'Kingcrawler' are purely stunning.
