Seriously, though, an interesting watch.
I've always liked Mitchell. He came across on this extremely well - thoughtful, intelligent, humble, witty. Lawson raised some interesting points - the fact that '10 O'Clock Live' is very leftist, the relative failure of 'Magicians' - and Mitchell was equally interesting in his own right - saying that he was very pleased to be able to be doing his dream job, the fact that comedy was his specialism and nothing to do with his parents, his obsession with television as a child, his experience of growing up between the ages of 18 and 24. What struck me maybe the most was how deep he throws himself into work - he really did seem somewhat obsessed with it. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
