"Song of Solomon" by Toni Morrison

Comments: This was suposed to be hard because is full of regional and old English, well, that or my American teacher was being condescending, he's fairly obsessed with how this and that is so American nobody else can really get it and how even he doesn't know some vocab because he's from a different state. Whatever, this book should have been boring, I didn't like the characters, most of them were either weak or stupid and unhappy too but... it was somehow cautivating, it took me a couple weeks but almost every time I picked it up I read a chapter or two without almost realising, I guess that means Morrison can write. Having finished I can say it did make me worry about those idiots, although I still can't say WHY. Now I need to find an essay topic and, possibly, look up the ending somewhere because I don't quite get it.
