Comments: Ray comes back from Canada, having gotten nowhere with Fraser. Vecchio comes back from Florida, having broken up with Stella and being pretty broken himself. And Welsh partners them, to their mutual outrage, which doesn't last very long, especially since they kind of want to fuck each other and after working together some they can't help but respect each other. They talk out Stella, but don't mention Fraser. And they are happy, tremendously so, as fucked up as they both are. But once they manage to talk about Fraser and what they both feel...felt for him it seems inevitable, necessary that they try, that they reach out to the man they both love, that they offer him the chance they have with each other.

"Ray," Fraser said, and normally they could tell which one of them he was talking to just by the way he said it, but he had an in-between tone, too, for when he didn't feel like specifying (see also: "Oh, God, Ray"), and that was it.
