Comentario: Esta es la única novela de Rice que planeo releer. The main character, through bad luck and worse enemies, ends up being picked up to become a castrato. His teacher, a failed castrato himself, makes things quite a bit better, though. I have been looking for a copy of this ever since I returned the dilapidated one I read to the Figueres library and they took it out of circulation.
