Some heavy-ish rains here last yesterday afternoon, and pretty windy. The road out front was flooded near the storm drain. And I had a minor leak near my living room air conditioner, until I got it taped back down again.

I wouldn't have liked to be out in that, but all in all, I've seen much worse.

Just got an automated call from my village's Office of Emergency Management. Hanna is expected to drop 5-8" of rain here, starting around midnight tonight, with winds up to 60 mph. They promised to call again if any action is recommended (i.e., evacuation ( Read more... )
