Okay. So. I did apply for the apartment, but I'm still up in the air about whether I actually want it.
It's a good location. I like the kitchen, I like the bathroom, I like all the big closets. But it would be *very* cramped. And the parking lot is kind of cramped, too. Also, the little stairwell down from the parking lot (because the first floor is down about five steps) will probably fill up when it snows.
And speaking of snow, there's a question I need to ask before signing a lease. (The wrong answer would mean *not* signing it.) The agent told me that the super doesn't work on weekends; I'm wondering if that means that, if it snows on the weekend, nothing gets cleared before Monday. That would be a dealbreaker.
Maybe they'll give it to someone else and this will all be moot.
(Is it a bad thing that I'm almost kind of wishing for that? If only because it would take the decision out of my hands?)
