laborious

The official end of summer this year is marked by former hurricane Hermine working its way up the coast. We're not predicted to get a lot of rain--an inch or so--but tropical storm-force winds for the next several days plus storm surges and coastal flooding at high tide. The flooding shouldn't be a concern right here (see also: why I moved farther inland), but it's not going to be a good Labor Day weekend to go to the beach or have a barbecue.
