Worldcon Sunday

Two very good panels today to round out the con. In between, I had a bite of lunch from one of the food trucks outside the convention center, and ran into the dealers room for one last, inexpensive item (using some of the leftover money in my food budget).

After the second panel ended, just before 2:00, I retrieved the big suitcase from my room, then went to the art show to pack up my unsold pieces and check out. I then spent about half an hour packing up mail-in art to send back. At 3:00, I said my goodbyes and bailed. There was still one artist to pack up in the print shop, plus pegboard and pipe, etc. to disassemble, but I had had it. Back in my room again, I took a 40 minute nap.

I have been planning to have a nice dinner tonight, since there's plenty of money left in my food budget still. There's a restaurant a half mile away that would be good, but it's also down a steep hill, which would mean climbing it again after. Not happening. I'll either go down to the hotel restaurant later or just order room service, depending. I'm still thinking it over.

Tomorrow morning I have to set my alarm so that I can finish packing and catch my flight home. I do need to remember to call about my car repairs as soon as we land. Back to reality.
