I finished the second blue/green calico that I started the beginning of the week. Below are it and the green tabby, flanking the navy tuxedo cat that I made last year. All three are the same basic pattern.
This calico is made of only two furs, the blue and the green. The fur is soft but kind of stringy. I don't have a matching white, which is why I didn't use these for the first calico. When I noticed that they both have some white mixed into them, along with a gradation of the base color, I realized that I could make a calico with just the two furs. Hence this cat. The other end of the green piece had more white, so I'm sorry I didn't use that. I might make yet another calico some day. But some day is not this year.
