four years of books
I joined LibraryThing two months ago. I just finished entering my entire book collection, so I can now say with confidence that I own 1494 books*. At my current rate, if I read nothing else, it would take me about four years to read them all.
*not counting the ones on my to-be-read stacks, some of which I may not keep
