Hi everyone! I hope you're well rested after our off week. I know I missed our weekly discussions! Next week, on Sunday, June 5th, we'll be reading Rainbow Valley, in a discussion post by
hondagirll.
This book was published in 1919 and is dedicated to three soldiers who gave their lives in World War I. (I should have posted this yesterday!) It was published two years after Anne's House of Dreams, and twenty years before Anne of Ingleside. It's set in 1906 - fifteen years after Anne's House of Dreams. Also, this book is a bit of an odd duck in the series in that it's more about a family of neighbours of the Blythes, the Merediths, than about the Blythes themselves. You can read it online
here.
