I think she fits very well with the SPN universe. She is actually a very strong character and drove the pot well. I think that Katie Cassidy was the better actress but Gen Cortese has an intriguing slyness and deceptiveness that worked quite well eventually (probably after she got better at it :D).

Perhaps the Ruby haters all despises any girls who got into Sam's pants?

Just a thought.
