Today something wonderful happened to me. I got my younger niece to sleep! She's just eleven months old and very much a mommy's girl. I've tried to get her to sleep before but in vain. Oh the joy of kids. Seriously!

Today my three-year-old niece came to me and said that she's sleepy. She sat on my lap and I began to stroke her back. In about ten minutes she fell asleep. On my arms! She made me feel so special.

I'm high as a kite for the next three months.
