I got a letter in the mail the other week saying that my Associate degree was ready for pickup at PVCC, so this afternoon I finally had the chance to wander over and get it. I'm thinking about getting a second Associate degree in art... I think I should be 25 or less credit hours away from having it already, which is about two semesters worth of classes. It's an excuse to go back and take some fun art courses in the summer. All science and no art makes Troll a sad Troll.
Last Friday was the Zombie Walk at First Friday. We (of course) missed it because we showed up too late, though I'm surprised it only lasted for thirty minutes this time around. It was worthwhile, at least. We (me, EJ, Danny) got to wander around in full on makeup and costumes, scream/groan at passerby out the window, and scare the crap out of unsuspecting people (see woman who jumped and yelped when we got out of the elevator). We even had a request to scare someone, which ended up being pretty funny - just picture a young girl and a grandmother stiff with fear. Here's my favorite picture from the shoot we did in a stairwell:
Art Sunday was also loads of fun. I had a chance to work on some customs and put together this sweet metal beetle that Danny gave me... and before we had company over, me and EJ goofed off and spattered our bathroom shower with fake blood to do this ridiculous photoshoot.
School is school. I've been studying some German on the light rail, reading, practicing site reading for violin... studying. Lots of studying. I think things are going to pick up if I keep it up.
