Office Space
If my superiors only knew what I got away with here on a daily basis, just how fully I embody Slack...well, they'd fire me straight away. But they don't know, and assuming I don't slip up, they won't know. It's the only benefit that comes from working in a department where you can accomplish more in 3 hours than they can in an average day, and where everyone else in the department lives 3 time-zones to the left.
I've tried to train them, but it's like teaching a goldfish to sit, it just doesn't take.
I think after many thousands of cups of research, I can say that a blend of 2 parts French Vanilla to 1 part Hazelnut, otherwise black, is my favorite cup of coffee.
I know why, but it still strikes me as strange that the more you eat, the hungrier you get. I devoured five plates at a buffet last night (granted, two plates were sushi, surprisingly the best fare at the place) and then dessert last night, and woke up starving. I usually can't eat/don't like to eat in the morning anyway, but I think today I may have to go for a second egg sandwich.
Heading down to LBI this weekend for to see Mom and break in the beach for the season. Memorial Day comes up soon and that island turns into a madhouse for three months, so it'll be nice to get a little time in before the shoobies set camp.
