After the Hurricane......
Well the hurricane is over and all is well other than the shit that flew around from the winds. I am just grateful that Lauren came out here and that I didn't have to worry about her no matter how bad it was or wasn't. On the other hand I did get to talk to my cousin Charlene for the first time on the phone when I called to let her know that we are okay. It was as great as e-mailing back and forth if not better!
We are getting Dad a wild boar hunting trip for Christmas and I hope that he realizes that he'll have to fly down here to go on it! Ahh...the use of manipulation in order to get a visit huh? Kind of like doing laundry for my sister or taking my best friend to lunch right? It's sad being lonely despite the fact that someone is always around you. Oh well................LIFE!
