i go home tomorrow!
yesterday i got an email from pitt saying they have my file and are just waiting for my grades. they also asked for a phone number to contact me over the break, if they need to. that put me in a good mood. then nicole's sister's flight from houston was delayed so i ended up bringing up nicole's car to oakland so we could then pick her up. i then slept with safia... and it was DAMN good.
this morning when nicole went to her last final, her sister and i drove off to greensburg to return me for my last final. we talked most of the ride, and it wasn't akward so i was proud of myself. we ended up missing the first turnpike exit, which isn't a big deal because it doesn't add that much extra time. as we drove into greensburg amanda agreed that it is just like croydon. after i got back i showered and had some fantastic coffee and shower time. later i went to mcdonalds.
this evening the roads got crazy icy, and i got worried about driving to class. i drove about 20 mph the entire way, only breaking 25 twice. then i finished my last final for 1950s lit, which wasn't that bad at all. i got back my paper from last week, which i wasn't very proud of. apparently it was still better than most of the class, i got an A-. my teacher liked my thesis, because i effing rock. the ride back was just as crazy with the ice. oh winter.
anyway, i am going home tomorrow. this is amazing, in case you didn't realize. i am very ready to go back home. sometimes i just like to keep typing without doing any actual thinking, i just kind of like the sound of it. sometimes i think about when actors type in movies. do you think they have other people type for them? they tend to be very good typists with very few mistakes when chatting it up online. and if someone else does do the typing, do you think the actors ever feel insulted, like... "what, is my typing not good enough for your movie? is it not real enough?" and then that gets me thinking about how in movies answering machines pick up after one or two rings. i don't know why that bothers me, but sometimes, it really does. <-- that was my typing sans thinking, i hope you enjoyed it.
every time before i go home, i have a massive amount of laundry to do... and i do it the night before... and then it isn't dry until after i want to go to bed. damn me, and my predictability. but i am still excited to go home for the holidays, or should i say HOMO for the holidays? oh i love puns, and dwelling on my sexual orientation.
on the note of my sexual orientation. sometimes people get confused about my gender and call me a 'her' or 'she'. well next time you have the urge to call me she, i would prefer sie/zi. for her - hir/zir.
