Probably the most interesting post I'll ever make...
Phew. I fixed the internet. It suddenly went down on Thursday night and has been taunting me since. Did a few trouble-shooting thing, but the error message was one I hadn't seen. I thought maybe the wires outside might have frozen or something when we got below zero the other night, but today I finally just unplugged/dismantled everything, cleaned it and reassembled it all... and discovered that the wireless router's AC adapter burned out. So I swapped it out for Jenny's hard-drive AC adapter and now it works again. YAY!
Friday night was the final night of Jennypalooza. So we went to Gameworks in Shaumburg via LIMO (second time I've ridden in one this month! The first was for Ma'n'Pa's anniversary two weeks ago), ate dinner, did shots, played games. Almost died on the DDR Extreme machine doing V on Standard. I haven't DDRed in 2 years and am really out of shape... BUT I DID NOT FAIL, so... that's good I guess. Came home, things got really weird with mostly-nekkid drunken men running around... and went to bed around 1:30AM.
Then was woken up around 2:30AM when said mostly-nekkid drunken men jumped into bed with me, followed by Ma, Em and Nay snapping photos with her fancy DSLR camera... Then I chased them out after they violated poor Animal (he attracts so much violation) by threatening purple-nurples. I was shown pictures the next morning. They attacked sleeping Pa after me... then ran away when he started to wake up.
It was a weird night. And there are some pictures I think I need to paint and sell to gay men for a fortune... feather boas... Elton John glasses... cowboy hats...
Yesterday, I played Alchemy on my phone (so addicting) and Chrono Trigger (now I'm all into it, JoD!) since the internet was down and I couldn't get on Xbox Live. Today I'm going to my cousin's GF's baby shower during the big game... with a family split between Packers and Bears fans. Should be interesting.
And that is my crazy weekend.
