As a tomato-phobe, I welcomed the recent salmonella outbreak out of the belief that I would not have to ask restaurants to hold the tomatoes for my burgers. But, for some insane reason, local restaurants keep on serving the beastly things and making me go through the motion of asking. What the hell, Ohio? Are you trying to kill everyone? Can't I have a burger without dealing with tomato-y abominations?
