updating
It's been too busy to update for the past couple of weeks. We came home fine from our short holiday which was fine but tiring. Father is still in a state of flux. One day he's fine, the next he's not. Lots of reminders that our elders are not growing younger and time is something that keeps racing onwards. It's a bit frustrating to be here when I want to go home. At the same time, I can't go home just yet until things with Father are either stable enough for me to go or the waiting is over. Not a fine place to be.
I haven't had much time to pursue projects that I've been wanting to do, but at least I have have been writing and have two stories that are just about ready to go. After this, there's Kissing Luna and Love Songs from the Beloved Country or something like that. I also want to rewrite sections of Hidden Histories to create individual stories instead of the story cycle it now is. It's a challenge.
Samuel will be going to school four afternoons a week, so that should give me more writing time. I hope to catch up soon.
