(no subject)
Today I had to go to Jury Duty. I really could of probably thought of twenty other things I would want to do instead of sitting in the City County Building for four hours. Ok there were a lot of reasons why this experience wasn't that great:
1. I had to miss class
2. I had to get up extra early so we could leave early cuz of the snow
3. Got stuck in construction and was late to get there.
4. Got called for the Jury within a half an hour.
5. When I finally got done with the questioning from the attorneys, they took two hours.
6. After all that questioning, I got excused ( not really upset about that one though)
7. When I got back to the public assembly room, I decided to do all the homework I brought
8. Fire alarm goes off and the whole entire building is evacuated.
9. Stuck out in the snow for a half an hour.
10.Security, enough said.
They say to do Jury duty is some civic duty but when we came in there, the workers were admitting that they know why people don't want to do this "civic duty". I got paid 15 bucks for four hours of craziness.
I went to work and picked up my awesome check. I don't think I have ever gotten a check that big since I started working the day I turned 16. They tried to call me in twice tonight. They really don't listen to me I guess when I told them I had a lot of things to make up. Classes are heavy this semester.....
I made the Dean's List!! I can't even believe it myself because in high school I most definetely never made an honors list. The most I got was the B honor roll and honestly I didn't really care about that. I guess my hard work in college is really paying off. About time something came out of me working myself to exhuastion. School really is tiring me out but I still rather go to class than do other things.
Ok so Han and Jason came and visited me on Friday I think it was at work last week. It wasn't really weird at all. I mean I knew when it was time to leave them alone, but you know that comes with being around anyone in a relationship. I mean it's like wow those two people are my friends one week and the next they were my friends who are together. Things just change so quickly. I guess sometimes I hold onto the past, so initially I wasn't really excited about this change. But I am still going to watch to make sure they don't turn into a certain few people which I will remain nameless.
