how stupid is this?
So i got a speeding ticket this past april for going 40 in a 25. (This was also my first offense mind you.) The cop who pulled me over was not too nice to me about just giving me a warning because it was like 15 over or something like that. So he gives me a ticket and a 72 dollar fine. pfft okay so i paid up that month and sent it in. NOW tonight i get a letter from NH saying that my license is going to be suspended for 20 days because of my speeding. does this make sense? i think not! why on earth would the cop gimme a ticket in the first place if they were just gonna take my license away. i'm going to call these people up tomorrow morning because this just isn't right. it shouldnt have taken them this long to tell me that they're going to pull my licesne especially on my first offense and when i've already paid them 72 bucks. im soo not mailing my license in unless a cop comes knocking on my door and makes me. besides i only got 3 points on my license and you definately need 6 to get your license taken. something is definately not right. i need advice anyone agree? share with me your ideas and comment pretty please!
