Holy Saturday

Today went okay. Here at the end of the day, I just feel like I missed out on something important. Maybe someday I will be able to look back and figure out what it is.

The day started at 8:00. My dad woke me up before he left for a fair board meeting of some sort. So, I got up and he left. There was still wine on my breath from the night before. I got up and moving, ate some crispix for breakfast and then I woke Suzanne up.

She didn't want to get up, but I insisted that she get up because mom would be moving around and doing stuff soon. Suzanne got up after some more coaxing. I started a fire and fed the cattle. The cows had a third of a bale of hay left in their feed bunk. I left it for them, but they didn't seem to enthused to eat it. After I fed the steers and bedded all of the pens, I threw a fresh bale in their bunk, but they didn't seem to keen on eating that either. Maybe they just weren't hungry.

Dad and I talked about our plans for getting ready to roof the house. Then I picked up scaffolding from Milo and some supplies from Morrisons. When I got back, we brought some things back in the house from outside, then Suzanne and I went to our Saturday Tango lesson.

That went pretty well all things considered. We linked three old moves together and I had a tough time getting the linking and timings right. Suzanne and I went back home and we took some naps. Before we went to the Easter Vigil mass.

Suzanne put my plants outside to get some sunlight while I was out earlier in the day. It dried the soil like a bone.
