you didnt ask me but it happens all the time. His SCOTUS nominees were not blocked...this is from Wiki just on judges...looks like around 75% of his judges get through no sweat

Following is a list of all United States federal judges appointed by President Barack Obama during his presidency.[1]
As of October 16, 2013, the total number of Obama Article III judgeship nominees to be confirmed by the United States Senate is 209, including two Justices to the Supreme Court of the United States, 39 judges to the United States Courts of Appeals, 166 judges to the United States district courts, and two judges to the United States Court of International Trade.[2] The number of nominations currently awaiting Senate action is 51.[3] There are currently 17 vacancies on the United States Courts of Appeals, 74 vacancies on the United States district courts,[3] and 20 announced federal judicial vacancies that will occur before the end of Obama's second term.[4] Obama has not made any recess appointments to the federal courts.
In terms of Article I courts, Obama has made 5 appointments and 2 pending nominations to the United States Tax Court, 2 appointments to the United States Court of Federal Claims and 1 appointment to the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. On October 21, 2013 President Obama designated Patricia E. Campbell-Smith to be Chief Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims.[5]
