"A Glimpse of Eternity"

Yesterday was our club event that we titled after the name of the video we watched: "A Glimpse of Eternity". I think it was a pretty good success. We had about 15 people out side of club members there at the end, and there were probably another half a dozen that stopped by before we really started the video. This is considerably more than we had last time and we had a good mix of Christians and non-Christians. I think the reason was our much improved advertising this semester. We made two different flyers which got some attention, but probably not much. The main thing that i believe caused a lot of curiosity was about 5 or 6 of us going all around campus drawing chalk jellyfish with the info for the event in them. It was great! Tons of people were staring at us and then would come see what we where drawing.
So after the video (which for some odd reason seemed to end abruptly), we had a big discussion based on questions that Johnny (one of our co-chairs) and some of the audience members had. I was afraid people wouldn't want to speak out, but they did! I could hardly get a word in edge-wise! I think it got every person in the room to think, even the Christians. Hopefully in the next few days or weeks we will see how God worked/is working in these people's lives. It was kind of funny that we couldn't hardly get people out of the room after we were done with the planned agenda and they were all just talking with each other (mostly about topics addressed in the discussion/video). It was kind of a last minute thing, but the club leadership (of which I am the Vice President, if I didn't mention that earlier) decide to go out for dinner and talk about how we think it all went. So I drove Linda to Burger King and we met up with the boys. We were having so much fun we ended up staying there for like an hour and a half! Lol. I love those people. One of the things we ended up discussing was the ICC Carnival that is on April 1st. We have to put together some kind of performance, so 3 or 4 of us are going to do some music and I will pick a song or two to sign to. I am very excited. Lol. Somehow I ended up singing "Poderoso" there and then Abraham joined me cause he actually knew the words to the verses. Lol. Now I am gonna sing that with him! So I gotta get to work on really memorizing that Spanish!
