I couldn't resist watching it before I'd extricated myself from very worrying and pressing real life matters. And now I can't help myself from filling cyberspace with the worthless gushings and ravings of a delirious maniac. Well. For future entertainment reference.
We shall begin at the beginning, a respectable and oft used approach.
AHAHAHAHAH! I actually laughed and clapped my hands like a nut, huddled by the glow of my computer screen. Lelouch TOTALLY owned Rollo in that phone call. From the previews last week, I was expected Lelouch to pull something like that on his 'lil baby bro', but this was very satisfying and fun to watch. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Rollo. In fact, he's shaped out to be an incredibly intriguing character with great potential. Much better than what the pre-season pictures suggested. My reaction from the pictures in Newtype and the like was one of annoyance and contempt. But now, oh hoho. It just gets better and better. In this episode, he genuinely had me stunned for a moment, when he pulled that scarily powerful Geass and flicked out his little knife and gutted the poor unsuspecting underling whose only role was to be killed and show us just how frightening the supposed 'shota' can be.
As much as I'm finding him interesting, if it's down to him or Lelouch on a deserted island, he can burn his little bones to create a fire so Lulu won't catch a cold. Hah!
Lulu the hobo was a bit of a let down, I'm afraid. *shrugs*
I was happy with most of the episode, BUT, the biggest ever complain is NO GINO!!! Where's my GinoGino? How can you do this to me? Make me get all excited over the potential for much love with those few lines last episode, and not even give us a glimpse of the end of one of silly little braids? And what about the rest of the Knights? Only Mr 7/11 made a obligatory appearance. Ooh well.
Ok, I should return to the realm of the real.
Damn cliff-hanger endings? This was a good one, and I actually liked how it ended. We all know Lulu ain't gona die.
I, on the other hand, am not an immortal animated character. Damn.
Ok. Back to the grindstone.
