Alot has happened this month, and we are barely out of the second week. I had a wonderful birthday party, Heather surprised me with Gen and Symmie. I love them alot, and we had a fun time. We ate dinner at Samurai Blue in Ybor, and then spent a few hours at Gameworks. They are all such wonderful company and Gen and Symmie are the most adorable couple ever. They got me a Croagunk cake, and honestly it was the best thing I could have gotten for my birthday.
It was a nice get away and really cheered me up, because the next day my Granpa died. He had been in a hospice and was on his way out for the last week, and his last day was just a breath away. I am glad he isn't suffering any more, but I'm a little worried about my Dad. He really doesn't want to see me because he doesn't like others to see him so upset, and its hard to want to comfort someone who is so insistent on...not being comforted. I am fine though, I deal with death in my own ways.
Heather and I have been geeking out over bento boxes and accessories. Its honestly a good way to make a healthy, fun lunch that actually gets you excited to eat. I bought a cute box and some matching accessories, and have been practicing with tupperware waiting for it to arrive. This was my lunch on Saturday, and it was one of the best I've ever had.
We also discovered Geocaching, and are going to become a part of this fascinating treasure hunting community.
http://www.geocaching.com/ Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache.
I think this summer will be very fun c:
