How Children Are

Mar 25, 2009 20:10

I used to dislike children, especially those who cry a lot. I hate hearing them cry, and I tried to get away from them as much as I can, except when the children are quiet and well-behaved, or if they're my cousins ( Read more... )

I am glad that they changed your mind about children. I am rather fond of children since I grew up with 3 siblings and a bunch of cousins..and now I have little cousins and even nieces. Children are really rather adorable sometimes...

Don't get me wrong. I grew up with 2 siblings and four other cousins who live next door. I also have a bunch of cousins (coz my father has 12 siblings, and so does my mother =___=;;;)

I just don't like crybabies :D *bricked*

woow.. I don't feel lonely anymore, cos I thought I'm the only one who doesn't like children. I don't hate them, I just feel that they are annoying. I have a reason for that. When I was in my junior high, my parents went to Malaysia for my dad's check up. I was left alone with my sister, so my parents asked my auntie to take a look for us. My auntie had a 4 years old grandson, so automatically she brought him a long because she was the one in charge to take care of his (his parents were working). One day, my sister caught a cold and my auntie wanted to take her to see a doctor. So, I was asked to take care of him for a while because he didn't like the smell of hospital (the drug odor). 5 minutes after they left home, he CRIED IMMEDIATELY!!!! aaargh.. I didn't know what to do, because that was the first time I had to take care of children and I knew nothing about children (I still am). I tried to comfort him and I swore I'd done ANYTHING to calm him down, but he didn't. I gave up and made a call for my uncle. While waiting for my uncle ( ... )

I know what happened when we grow up and lose that quality. Sad isn't it.

I also don't know what to do when a child cries, trust me >_>

Children are still innocent and remains not tainted yet ♥ You gained not only experiences but these experiences shaped you as you grow older...
However children can be very forgiving ;_; unless it's something that traumatized them badly~~~~
