OMG! I have a dome obsession too! In fact, I was on that very website a couple days ago. I'm not sure where I want to build yet, but CO has been on the top of my list for quite a while. But it would have to be *in* the mountains...I want to ride a snowmobile to my door, hehe.
anyhow, in case you're interested I have an lj friend, username joefisher, who just finished building his own sustainable house! I have so much respect for that. We are talking about building an lj community to discuss forming a community somewhere down the road. I know I would invest to make it happen if I had enough people who were also serious. :) anyhow, cool!

My ideal dome is up in the mountains, too. I'm not sure my darling husband will acquiesce to that, though. ;)

If it makes you feel any better, I'm the same way. Bret's been in Germany for a while, and with the time difference, it's made it difficult to even talk on the phone. We haven't seen each other in over two weeks so far... we're hoping he comes home soon. In the meantime, I'm keeping myself busy with house buying and being sick. He told me I had to get better by the time he gets back so we can spend good time together. :)

I know it's hard-- it would be even harder with an ocean in between! I am fortunate that we do get weekends (even when they're short). So hey, GET ALL BETTER!!!

I've gotten where I type my journal entries in Notepad too because nothing is worse than typing this wonderful piece of work and having it fade into the ethereal.

And I do understand about the best friend thing, Dan is totally my best friend. I always feel off when he's not around, even if I'm at work or something.

Lately my browser is crashing tooooo much so I've taken to doing a lot of things in notepad. I think it's time to reinstall Firefox. ;)

With Josh being gone so much for the last couple of months and with all that's been going on, it just seems that we've not had time to synch up very well. I'm looking forward to a real weekend... we pick him up tomorrow night at DFW!

That polish radio facility is soooo neat!!! I want one!
I too used to have a big love of domed structures. I haven't thought about it in awhile but this is just too cool.
