(no subject)
the last time i updated was may.....
i guess there's a lot to update about since the last majorly stressed out entry.
it turns out summer is how it's supposed to be, completely stressless. which is totally a word. and i love it. i've been working at hbc as a sailing instructor as always. yesterday was my first regatta of the season and i had a pretty good time. saw some people i hadn't in a long time...beth, thomas, conor, etc. hung out with mattias and the rest of the team all morning joking around since we got there at like 730 and harbor start wasn't until 1050 with an 1150 first horn.
school ended well....96 on the US regents, 74 on chem (couln't be happier). i ended up getting an 85 on that english paper. which was totally fucked up considering it was amazing when i finally finnished it. and on time, believe it or not. when i went through it to see how he graded it based on the rubric and to see the corrections, i found the rubric inbetween the 3rd and 4th page. each page had a few mark ups of red ink before that. from the 4th to the 12th, there was zero ink. hmmm maybe i'm perfect on most of the paper except the 5 mark ups before page four and deserved a 95 minimum, or else he didn't feel like reading the rest. hmm, i wonder?
or course got voted president for g/sa (who else was going to do it?). buuuuuut more importantly, i also got captain of color guard :) i got the flagline and danceline and cara got the weaponline. this season is going to be wonderful.
today i had my interview at starbucks. it went really, really well. the woman who interviewed me was the assistant manager, she was soo nice and i could totally work with her as a boss. hopefully i get this. i need another job.
