We made a raised bed recently! Bought something simple like this: http://www.greenandeasy.co.uk/product/Economy-Wooden-Raised-Bed-.aspx and filled it with topsoil. It's got cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage in it, and some little lettuces. Nom!

!!!!! I finished my raised bed TODAY, actually! Photos will happen... uhm, sometime. How do you grow broccoli, is it easy for you? Thats on my list of things to grow since I practically inhale broccoli like Kirby.

well it's the first year we've grown it, and it's been a bit chilly, so I'm not sure how it will go yet :) I'll let you know! We bought little plants though, didn't grow it from seed.

If this year goes well, then I plan on starting seedlings early for next year. Seeds seem to be a bit tricky though...

oh really? Is it not just "stick them in a propagator, keep warm and damp"?
