Life, oh life.
I had something i was so excited about around the new year, only to have it all rather blow up in my face a few days ago. "The lesson is, never try" - Homer S.
THERAPY IS EXPENSIVE, PLANTS ARE CHEAP.
I have recruited my surrogate boyfriend, Jesse, to help me with my grand plans on Sunday, IM BUILDING A RAISED GARDEN BED. This way the mowers wont take my plants out, and I will have a nice space to grow tomatoes and asparagus. *glee!*
Im currently having GREAT luck with keeping an african violet alive that a coworker gave to me that she grew from a leaf. Our store has gotten a bunch of them in around the same time, and now i have many leaves in many a pots around my room. Lets hope it works.
I've spent my free time cycling between playing a few games, knitting, drawing, and reading.
I finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and wasn't that impressed with the mash-up, honestly. I would only recommend it to those who have no interest in the real story and don't care for a book that seems somewhat far fetched. To hear Elizabeth go on about something, and then counter it with "if only my chinese master were here to bloody my back for my actions!" it just... feels cheap and eccentric. ...And that is what lead me to watch the BBC's 6 hour long production of Pride and Prejudice. COUGH. The guy they got to play darcy was hot. e__e
Now I'm going to read Chris Moore's "A dirty job", its supposed to be really good. I also need to read "Love and Sex with Robots", its not quite what the title would seem, but it is about sexuality and stuff.
The desire to own a dog is getting overwhelming. I spent a couple hours looking through petfinder...
Disjointed dorky little entry from a disjointed dorky little monster.
Goodnight.
