Good gods, where did I go?!?
Did I fall off of the planet? Nope, not really, I just fell into two separate jobs that officially discouraged blogging, as well as a general ennui about the internet altogether, which is especially funny as I'm an internet/network admin.
but crap, I know I don't post often, but four years?!?
Hell, I haven't mentioned my job, my wife, my multiple moves or anything here...
okay, briefe version:
the job in 2005 was good, moved to a town called carnation, flew to Oregon, moved the GF to carnation, cohab'd and that led to marriage, got the screws put to us by the landlord as well as two weeks without power after the wind-storm from hell, moved during a really nasty December to a house in the middle of a farm, employer changed locations twice and subsequently went bankrupt, stayed employed with the primary creditor keeping systems alive until He closed the doors, jumped immediately to another job with a wireless ISP in a town called Enumclaw (the commute was hell) got laid off in time for xmass, moved yet again to a smaller but nicer house just a few miles north in a town named Duvall, regained employment through a contracting company that placed Me in a very nifty (if workload stressful) position in a research lab for a very big company. Finally caught a breath and checked on a few LJ's that I havent' seen in a while.
So, I'll throw a wave to a few old friends Heyas Davmoo, what's shakin? Hiyas Sebab! I still owe you a cuppa, and I still have those hand towels. ;-) Marcus, you fey, give yourself a hug for Me.
