When my husband and I got married we chose this dia de los muertos topper for our cake. I had it shipped up from Mexico. The woman who was making our cake asked repeatedly if we were 'sure' that's what we wanted. Well, it was! I really think she just didn't want to work with it.
The cake turned out to be a hit, and the topper perfect for our October wedding.
In fact the topper still sits on a shelf in our living room, surrounded by candles and such, a constant reminder of the fact that love never dies.
