Yes, the title matches my icon. That's how excited I am. Why, you ask? My iPod, that has been dead since the abuse it took at Anime Expo over Independence Day weekend, miraculously came back to life today! I had tried the reset process before, but after having it sit on its iHome for 3 months now, something told me to try it again. And it worked, randomly. I ran around doing happy dances while listening to it for about a half hour, because I'm dork like that. Take that Terri Schiavo! I just really hope my mom didn't already buy me a new one for Christmas, but I doubt she did. She was probably waiting until at least black Friday to see what deals she could get. Now I don't know what I want my big present to be...
Also, Hetalia Day was so much fun! Besides the fail of rain, and a big mix-up in which Ashley and I had to go out in it, just to be called back to the mall where we originally were. Oh well, it was still fun anyway. There was fun cosplay, House of the Dead, and delicious cake. The only thing missing was Mudkipz. Oh, and my camera died first thing, which is why Ashley needs to post pictures NAO so I can see them.
Lastly, even though my Witch-Maid costume didn't get done in time for Saturday, it turns out the WCU halloween party isn't until tomorrow night. Maybe, just maybe... But I do have progress pictures of it, and I really like the dress. The cape... is coming along. I'll still have to finish the gloves and the belt, but htey're deemed not necessary for the party. They are, however, necessary for Zenkaikon, so they'll be finished by then, mark my words.
Okay, one more thing, I just went on coscom and saw I invited to a cool looking maid event thing, which kind of stroked my ego, I'll admit. Sadly, I've outgrown my traditional maid costume, and I know the witch-maid one looks nothing like what they want. Insert sad face here. Either way, I can't imagine myself doing those cutesy dances anyway. Wait a minute...
As maids you get to have your very own merchandise. Photo cards, and even posters, of yourself that will be customized by Neko Neko Maid & Hostess Club staff just for being one of our maids! The cards and posters will be sold at our merchandise table and part of the profit goes to you!
