God doesn't just want me to be supplied, he wants me to be happy. Sometimes, this consists of picking up Sonic after church, cranking up the music, and driving with the windows down.
Sheppy is still the only man in my life, and I can look at him while he's taking a piss on the neighbor's AC unit and gratefully tell him this. I don't think he truly grasps the significance.
At the USC game last night, the visiting team's fans were more friendly than the home team's. This has given me serious food for thought, and an awful lot of disgust toward my fellow Bulldogs.
Metalingus is my song of the moment. At first it was just for the guitar, but the words aren't bad either.
This nice swollen knee is going to make Tuesday an awful lot of fun. Between the walking and squatting all over campus to clean handscanners for five hours, and then driving, and then a freaking rock concert on the floor and then more driving. Maybe I should bring ice. The main bruise is also right over the big scar from falling at the waterpark 6 years ago. This will make interesting colors.
Oh well. I did the Flyleaf/Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace concert on the floor with a torn quadricep and then drove 3.5 hours in a torrential downpour. I'll be fine. IT ADDS TO THE EXPERIENCE.
Three-year-olds are freaking precious, even if two of them are going to require their own personal middle-school-boy babysitter to keep them separated and somewhere in the vicinity of 'on task.' I really do love this preschool ministry. It makes me grin and go awww like every 10 minutes. That the people I work with aren't uppity enough to take my suggestions helps too.
My kitty is cute. And when cars crash outside at 1am, she growls out the window. My doggie is pathetic, until he fends off a 60-pound bulldog mix like a pro. They both make me proud.
Breaking Benjamin has the best acoustic stuff (
Diary of Jane acoustic is amazing) and if they never tour again/release anything else due to Ben's condition, then I'm proud to say I saw one of their last shows.
my bathroom is clean. yay.
