Drama has been running high at work since they announced that lay offs are coming.  American corporate culture sucks big time!  they offered a pretty good package for people that would volunteer.   I'm just going to keep doing the best job I know how, ride it out and see what happens.

Blea, we have to have a safety training tomorrow. Have to be at the coal mine at 7 am, means leaving town at 6 am. Have I mentioned that I'm not a natural morning person at all?

I've finished the first draft of the last chapter of the big report. My co-author gets it next. I've been editing what he's done and edited and am pretty much caught up. Once he gets done with the last two chapters I'll edit them again and we'll send it on to the boss. Should only be a few more weeks till its totally done. I spent half an hour ( Read more... )
