i hate going to family functions and being made fun of by my brother and mom the entire time and then getting told how everyone is getting married and then being asked if i have a guy in my life and i say no and then hear silence for a few seconds because of all my sad stories when people say "well what about.." and "but then that other guy... what happened to him?" or "oh, and the guy you were dating before" and answering "he dumped me..."... then more silence...and then listening to "dumb blonde" jokes for the next 20 minutes.
